Everything that is happening now has happened before.

Without going into the theory that we are living in a simulation that is designed to play out a DNA evolution experiment, even in the short history of humans, everything is a cycle.

Technological development, including an ability to write things down, photograph and communicate, is what makes us different from other animals, who live the same cycles of life again and again.

In the 1900s, people dismissed automobiles and predictions that it will take over the streets, as “another inventor talking.”

The streets looked like this in 1900, can you spot a nonhorse carriage?

And then in 1913, it looked like this. Where did the horse carts go?

The only way not to repeat the past is to dive deep into the past and recognize patterns.

We used to have one wave of technology every 20/30 years or so coming our way in the past.

Now we have 12 exponential technologies coming together reaching the threshold. The best way to prepare for the future is to learn from the past, multiply the impact a 12X.

When in doubt about how things will play out, history often gives a very reliable clue.
