What I noticed is that my two sons each have different ways of learning. One jumps into doing and learns on the way, making mistakes and making corrections – pretty much like me, and the other requires much more preparation, planning and putting things in order first, planning the steps.

I understand that these are just two different learning style, but If I was a teacher in a school with 20 /30 different kids, also include the wider variety of learning styles, should the children be called having the learning disability or should me as a teacher be identified as having a teaching disability?

Would it not be better still would be to match up teaching abilities and learning abilities? I think it is equally challenging for the teacher when the capacity of instruction and learning ability are not in sync, and it is wrong to consider it is a problem coming from the kids – it is time to think about ” teaching disability” rather than “learning disability” alone.
